The meeting began with a welcome speech by President Zhang Guolin, followed by a speech from Luo Zhengren, Chairman of Qianchuan Wood Industry Co., Ltd., who proposed the development concept for wooden doors: "Be honest and diligent in making doors." He gave a brief introduction to the overall development of the wooden door industry and put forward three proposals regarding the current issues faced by the industry. Mr. Luo emphasized: 1. Industry self-discipline is essential to protect the vital interests of the wooden door industry; the fate lies in our own hands. The association should play its role to lead the industry into self-discipline and purify the competitive environment. 2. Eliminate inflated advertising to promote healthy industry development, making consumers the true beneficiaries and genuinely serving our customers. Respect commercial innovation but avoid being exploited by commerce. 3. The development direction of wooden doors should shift from technology-driven to customer demand-driven. Follow the path of environmental protection and create green doors. Forests must exist for wooden doors to exist; energy saving, consumption reduction, and low carbon are principles that must be followed.
The meeting focused on "Leading Industry Development" and, to promote sustainable development of the wooden door industry and safeguard the overall interests of the industry, proposed the "Eight Honors and Eight Shames" self-discipline regulations for the wooden door industry. Subsequently, the meeting held intense discussions on the specific content of the "Eight Honors and Eight Shames," organizing professional technical seminars on energy saving, environmental protection, and design technology, the time, place, and content of the presidents' meeting in the second half of the year, how to strengthen the top 30 companies, upgrading engineering qualifications, and the wooden door website design competition.
