Qianchuan Wooden Doors won the Silver Award for Innovation in Chinese Wooden Door Design
On October 26, the 2011 China Design Competition award ceremony, known as the "Oscar of China's Wooden Door Industry," was grandly held in Beijing. Qianchuan Wooden Door won the grand prize: Qianchuan Wooden Door's WAKA Dream Love won the 2011 China Wooden Door "Huilong Paint Cup" Design Competition Silver Award for Most Innovative Design.
The 2011 China Wooden Door "Huilong Paint Cup" Design Competition was organized by the Wooden Door Professional Committee of the China Timber & Wood Products Distribution Association and hosted by the association's official website—China Wooden Door Network. It widely solicited works from wooden door manufacturers, freelance designers, product design enthusiasts, and students and teachers from domestic and international colleges and universities. The China Wooden Door Design Competition is the earliest established national high-level, most commercially valuable, and most influential product innovation design award event in China's wooden door industry, known as the "Oscar of China's Wooden Door Industry." Among nearly ten thousand entries from wooden door companies nationwide, dozens of domestic authorities, including Zhang Guolin, President of the Wooden Door Professional Committee of the China Timber & Wood Products Distribution Association, Dr. Yang Dongjiang, Associate Professor of Environmental Art Design at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, and Teacher Jiang Xilong from the Art Design Department of the Normal College of Beijing Union University, conducted months of rigorous review and evaluation. Qianchuan Wooden Door's WAKA Dream Love work received unanimous praise and favor from the competition committee experts and design masters, winning the China Wooden Door Product "Innovation Design Silver Award."
The award declaration commented on Qianchuan as follows: "They know the path of originality is full of thorns, they know the hardship of spreading the fire of innovation, but they resolutely raised the torch of innovation and embarked on the journey of originality. They are the brave explorers of China's product innovation design path.
