Winter weather is cold and dry, making it a high season for fires. To further enhance the fire safety awareness of volunteer firefighters, improve their fire extinguishing and self-rescue skills, and master the use of fire extinguishers and fire hoses proficiently to ensure the daily production and life in the factory area, the Safety Section of the Administration Department organized a volunteer fire drill on the afternoon of December 18.
At 4:30 PM, the drill officially began. Xiao Hongqiang, the head of the Safety Section of the Administration Department, first emphasized the importance of fire safety to all volunteer firefighters and explained fire safety knowledge including the use of dry powder fire extinguishers and fire hoses. Then, on-site guidance was provided for volunteer firefighters to practice the actual operation skills of dry powder fire extinguishers and fire hoses. Under the guidance of Safety Section head Xiao Hongqiang, all volunteer firefighters carried out actual fire extinguishing operations.
After the drill, the head of the Safety Section summarized the exercise and required volunteer firefighters to strengthen daily fire safety prevention in the company to safeguard the company's fire safety.
