Qianchuan Wooden Doors at Dongqi

　　Dongfang Turbine Co., Ltd. is a high-tech state-owned enterprise in China specializing in the research, design, and manufacture of large power station equipment. It is one of the top 100 enterprises in the national machinery industry and one of the three major turbine manufacturing bases in the country.

　　On May 12, 2008, a sudden massive earthquake destroyed Dongfang Turbine's Hanwang base. There were casualties among Dongfang personnel, factory buildings collapsed, equipment was damaged, and employee dormitory buildings fell down, suffering devastating blows.

　　Dongfang Turbine's Hanwang base lost most of its supporting production capacity and living conditions. The severe disaster at Dongfang Turbine deeply concerned the CPC Central Committee and the State Council. With the attention and care of President Hu Jintao, Premier Wen Jiabao, and provincial and municipal leaders such as Liu Qibao, Jiang Jufeng, Fang Xiaofang, and Chen Xin, as well as the unremitting efforts of all sectors of society over two years, the post-disaster reconstruction of Dongfang Turbine progressed smoothly, successfully completing the construction and commissioning of the new base. In the construction of the new base, Chengdu Qianchuan Wood Industry Co., Ltd., a leader in Sichuan's wooden door industry, undertook the production and installation services of wooden doors for the new base project, contributing its strength to the reconstruction of Dongfang Turbine's new base.

　　The construction project of Dongfang Turbine's new base received great attention from company leaders at all levels. Therefore, a special Dongfang Turbine engineering task force was established, investing a large amount of manpower and material resources in production, transportation, and installation. In production, multiple specialized production lines were opened for the dedicated manufacturing and processing of wooden doors for the new base project, effectively ensuring the supply of wooden doors for the project; in transportation, all forces were mobilized to continuously deliver wooden doors to the construction site; in installation, installation elites who passed stricter training and assessments were dispatched. They are truly the elite of elites, ensuring the smooth progress of the installation work. After more than half a month of day and night efforts, the wooden door installation was completed within the stipulated period, ensuring the successful completion and commissioning of Dongfang Turbine's new base.

　　This post-disaster reconstruction project of Dongfang Turbine is just the tip of the iceberg of Qianchuan's active assistance in disaster recovery.
