Grasping Consumer Needs: Genuine Materials Build the Brand — Interview with Feng Li, Marketing Director of Qianchuan Wooden Doors

Since March 15, 1983, was designated as International Consumer Rights Day, this year marks its 30th anniversary. The theme for this year's March 15th is "Consumption and Safety." On this occasion, we interviewed several frontline brand leaders in Chengdu's home furnishing industry.

Feng Li: Good afternoon, everyone.
Host: March is a peak season for home decoration. Could you please share your forecast and analysis of the spring market?
Feng Li: Although spring has arrived a bit late in Sichuan this year, the overall market for Qianchuan Wooden Doors is still good. We have received many positive news from various markets. Although it feels like the cold winter hasn't fully passed, the rigid demand from consumers still exists. Therefore, what our home furnishing companies should do is to capture this rigid demand and focus more on market share. The market is very large, and no company can occupy an absolute share. So I think the overall market response is quite good.
Host: Has Qianchuan introduced any strategies to cope with the current market situation?
Feng Li: Yes, marketing is systematic and very extensive. No matter what, the core point should be to get close to consumers and win their hearts. That is fundamental.
Host: Regarding March 15th, what discount policies has Qianchuan introduced for consumers?
Feng Li: Yes, and all along, our product philosophy at Qianchuan has been to convey to consumers the idea that "Qianchuan Wooden Doors, every day is March 15th." For this year's March 15th, we have introduced many ways to give back to consumers. Our goal is to let consumers buy the most cost-effective products with the least money. This nationwide March 15th event includes six major gifts, including special prices, package upgrades, and other discounts. We welcome consumers to visit our stores to learn more and make purchases.
Host: You have been in the home furnishing industry for many years. Do you think the consumption psychology and habits of Chengdu consumers have changed?
Feng Li: The changes are significant. First, consumers' psychology has become more rational. Many times, people would blindly buy products without enough understanding, but now they consider many aspects. Also, the recognition of brands has increased. As I always emphasize, in a generally unfavorable market environment, brand consumption behavior will definitely become mainstream.
Host: As a leading brand in the national wooden door industry, has Qianchuan made corresponding adjustments in products and services according to changes in consumer habits over the years?
Feng Li: As a professional wooden door maker for 16 years, the summary of these years is "16 years of genuine materials." We have always insisted on genuine materials. We are the only brand in the national wooden door industry that dares to publish our product structure diagrams, which are currently available on our official website. The purpose is to let consumers make informed purchases. Our goal is to build a century-old store. Therefore, while focusing on product quality, we have continuously improved and upgraded our services over the years. Products are the foundation of a brand; service is the brand's height.
Host: Regarding this year's March 15th theme of consumption and safety, what is Qianchuan's attitude towards product safety and health?
Feng Li: There is a saying, "Heaven rewards diligence, business rewards trust." Integrity is the foundation of a company. Our attitude in this regard is, as our chairman says, to follow our own path. Whether making products or doing anything else, we must be true to our conscience. Since consumers accept our products, we must be worthy of them.
Host: Finally, please introduce Qianchuan's development plan for this year.
Feng Li: First, we will continue to upgrade our product quality. The worse the market environment and the more cautious consumers are about home decoration, the more we, as a brand that always focuses on quality, will strive in this area. For example, this year we specially established a Market Inspection Department. This department's task is to inspect all Qianchuan stores to see if they provide better service to our consumers and to check if any merchants are using other products to counterfeit our brand, so that our consumers can feel more assured. Whether in product quality, service, or other aspects, we want consumers to make clear and confident purchases.
Host: Qianchuan is already a very successful leading brand in the national wooden door industry. What do you think makes a brand a successful home furnishing industry brand?
Feng Li: I think a company recognized by consumers is a successful company. A company recognized by most consumers in the industry will definitely become a leading brand.
