Forklift Competition Showcases Talent and Skills, Qianchuan Wooden Doors Wins Excellence Award

  Stacking cargo boxes, passing through figure-eight patterns, transporting mineral water, maneuvering wide goods through narrow doors... Can you imagine all these highly challenging skills being performed by a forklift that looks bulky? Many people would think, a forklift can actually be operated so skillfully and impressively.
  At 9 a.m. on November 17th, the square of Sichuan Vocational and Technical College of Transportation was bustling with activity. The "Second Enterprise Neighborhood Festival Forklift Competition," hosted by the Haike Community of Tianfu Street, Wenjiang District, Chengdu, was grandly held here. Forklift experts from dozens of companies in the Haixia Science and Technology Park showcased their skills, staging an exciting forklift skills competition. Li Ming, a forklift driver from Qianchuan Wooden Doors, won the Excellence Award by outperforming many contestants with his passion for forklift technology and work in his daily job.
  At the competition venue that day, applause was thunderous. When the contestants completed one difficult maneuver after another with their forklifts, demonstrating superb skills, they won rounds of cheers and applause from the audience. Li Ming, the forklift driver from Qianchuan Wooden Doors, drove the forklift in one of the events—transporting mineral water. Although it sounded simple, the competition greatly tested the balance and stability required in forklift operation. He skillfully drove the forklift forward, backward, turned around, and carried loads, with each move precise and expertly executed.
  This competition sparked a forklift contest craze within the Haixia Science and Technology Park. The company's contestants practiced their skills during their spare time at work. Meanwhile, the company hopes that by participating in similar community-hosted events, employees' professional skills can be enhanced and their enthusiasm increased.
