Qianchuan Wooden Doors Ignite a Wave of Proposal Enthusiasm

"The product qualification rate has increased from about 80% to about 98%, the production cycle has been advanced by 4-7 days, and material costs have been saved by more than 40%." Zhang Shaoming, Director of the Quality Technology Center of Qianchuan Wooden Doors, stated that this is a direct reflection of Yang Kaijun's proposal submitted to the company on April 10, 2012, regarding the processing of the CU24-CU28 (solid wood door) curved flower line carving machine. Since the implementation of this proposal, it has not only improved the company's product quality but also saved material costs, enhanced work efficiency, and had a profound impact on the company's product manufacturing, greatly improving the company's economic benefits.
The previous processing method for the elliptical flower lines on the CU24-CU28 door panels produced by the company not only had high processing costs but also could not guarantee quality and delivery time, and material waste was also significant. Facing this series of challenges, Yang Kaijun continuously explored and developed a new type of tool seamlessly integrated with the digital carving machine.
After several tests and verifications, it was found that production costs were greatly reduced, from the original 80 to 160 yuan per panel to now 8 to 12 yuan per panel. Product quality was also significantly improved, and material usage was saved by more than 40%.
After the proposal was submitted, it received great attention from company leaders at all levels and the proposal review team, who immediately required the Quality Technology Center and Manufacturing Center to implement the plan. The implementation effect was significant, obviously improving product quality and enhancing efficiency.
Up to now, this technology has been fully applied to the production line. The Manufacturing Center introduced, "Taking the company's annual production of 4,000 sets of CU24-CU28 as an example, it can save the company approximately 288,000 to 592,000 yuan in processing costs per year, along with cost savings. Currently, this technology is also applied to the production of other door types, which will generate even greater economic benefits."
