Before the fire drill began, Ren Baizhou, Production Center Director, and Xiao Hongqiang, Safety Section Chief, organized the frontline production employees and held a fire drill mobilization meeting. Director Ren emphasized the importance of safety in production, noting that due to the special materials used in wooden doors, such as wood which is highly flammable, especially during the hot summer weather, preventing fires is particularly important.
At 2 PM, the fire drill officially started. Under the command of supervisors in various production workshops, factory employees entered safe zones through safety passages. Some employees reacted quickly, picking up fire extinguishers to promptly put out the fire source. At the same time, other employees connected fire hoses and turned on the water supply, directing it to the fire source. The fire was extinguished within a few minutes, and the fire drill was nearing its conclusion.
Section Chief Xiao, responsible for the drill, summarized everyone’s performance: "Everyone responded relatively quickly this time, but some employees are still not very familiar with using fire extinguishers and other firefighting equipment. In the coming period, we will take time to teach everyone the correct use of various firefighting tools, especially new employees."
Through this fire drill, the fire prevention awareness and self-rescue abilities of frontline production employees were further strengthened. They learned and mastered how to identify dangers and how to take correct and necessary emergency measures to achieve simple, quick, and professional results during accidents. In the future, the company will strive to improve employees’ emergency rescue skills and overall emergency response capabilities, effectively prevent accident hazards, reduce accident losses, and ensure the company’s safe, stable, and orderly development.
