Boost morale and rebuild a beautiful homeland — 4.20 Qianchuan Wooden Doors Lushan Earthquake Post-Disaster Reconstruction Symposium
Recently, Zhang Kaiyi, Vice Chairman of the Political Consultative Conference of Lushan County, Ya'an City, and Yang Benchun, Director of the Capital Increase Office, visited Qianchuan to hold a symposium on the post-disaster reconstruction work following the 4.20 Lushan earthquake. Yang Qin, Chairman of the Qianchuan Wood Industry Group Union, Chen Huilin, Director of Human Resources and Administration, Zhou Xingqi, Director of Brand Operations, Wu Ping, Director of Customer Service, and other department leaders and workshop supervisors attended the meeting.
Chairman Zhang first expressed his gratitude to Qianchuan Wooden Doors, thanking Qianchuan for their tireless efforts in deeply participating in frontline earthquake relief work after the 4.20 Lushan earthquake, as well as a series of donation activities, bringing the most heartfelt help, urgent needs, and spiritual encouragement to the people in the disaster area.
Five months have passed since the disaster, and rebuilding homes and resuming production have been constant concerns for Qianchuan employees. This time, Chairman Zhang brought important information about post-disaster reconstruction work, delivering a policy briefing on the reconstruction of rural residents' housing after the strong 4.20 earthquake in Lushan County, informing attendees of the key points and essentials of the reconstruction work, and providing detailed explanations.
It is reported that the post-disaster rural housing reconstruction in Lushan is centered on farmers, with government guidance and assistance. The funding mainly relies on farmers raising part of the funds themselves, national subsidies, and bank loans to complete the construction. Regarding construction models, there are three types: unified planning with farmer self-construction, unified planning with farmer joint construction, and monetary subsidy resettlement. Farmers can choose different methods for reconstruction based on their actual situation and needs.
A special open Q&A session was added at the symposium. Qianchuan employees from Lushan raised questions to Chairman Zhang regarding foundation issues, land acquisition policies, compensation standards, subsidy standards, and house reinforcement and reconstruction standards. Chairman Zhang answered each question, thoroughly explaining and conveying the relevant policies and arrangements.
The meeting conveyed Lushan County's "4.20" strong earthquake post-disaster reconstruction policy for farmers' housing. Housing reconstruction is a livelihood-related task involving thousands of households. The meeting required the leaders present to attach great importance to the work, grasp the principles of information dissemination and policy promotion for reconstruction, and ensure the smooth progress of post-disaster rural housing reconstruction.
The leaders attending from Qianchuan Wooden Doors all expressed that they would strengthen their study and understanding, thoroughly grasp the policies and reconstruction principles, and carry out publicity and explanation work for every employee from the disaster area working at Qianchuan. They will promptly understand employees' thoughts and ensure that rural housing reconstruction proceeds in an orderly, strong, and effective manner. Chairman Zhang stated, "This trip is of great significance and has received strong support from the leadership of Qianchuan Wooden Doors. Qianchuan's friendly, honest, and problem-facing attitude has established a smooth channel for employees from Lushan working at Qianchuan to 'understand issues, express opinions, consult, and solve problems,' which will play a major role in the effective implementation of the post-disaster reconstruction work in Ya'an Lushan."
