Qianchuan Wooden Doors Invited to Attend Sichuan Forestry Industry Development Promotion Conference

　　On October 21, the Sichuan Forestry Industry Development Promotion Conference was successfully held in Nanbu County. More than 200 participants attended the meeting, including leaders in charge from municipal, prefectural, and county governments across Sichuan Province, forestry bureau chiefs, the director and deputy director of the Provincial Forestry Department, leaders from key forestry industry counties (cities) in the province, leaders from provincial development and reform, agricultural research, planning, and financial units, as well as representatives from leading forestry enterprises and specialized cooperative organizations. Qianchuan Wooden Doors, as a representative of the second batch of leading forestry industrialization enterprises in Sichuan Province, was invited to attend the meeting with Chairman Luo Zhengren present.

　　On the morning of the 21st, Chairman Luo was invited to visit the forestry industries in towns such as Dingshui, Xinglong, Dawang, Liuma, Dongba, Dayan, Pingqiao, and Qunlong in Nanbu County, along with many leaders. They also visited wood product processing and sales enterprises including Zhongyan Yinhang, Marubi Baijia, and Shenxintai Fu.

　　Director Yao Sidan of the Forestry Department delivered the keynote report of the meeting, explaining the current development status of Sichuan's forestry industry and outlining important work arrangements. Increasing farmers' income has become the fundamental task of forestry industry development. The meeting put forward new requirements to improve the benefit distribution mechanism, prevent speculative land grabbing by industrial and commercial capital, resource plundering development, and the crowding-out effect of capital on farmers, aiming to achieve long-term mutual benefit and win-win between capital and farmers. By 2020, the goal is to achieve an average forestry income of over 1,500 yuan per farmer, establish 30 million mu of modern forestry industry bases across the province, reach a total forestry output value of 300 billion yuan, and basically form a modern forestry industry system that is comprehensive, competitively orderly, and significantly effective.

　　Li Changping, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and director of the Provincial Agricultural Work Committee, attended the meeting and delivered an important speech. He emphasized, "Modern forestry has broad prospects; the industry enriches the people and has great potential. We must emancipate our minds, pioneer and innovate, develop modern forestry, promote increased income for forestry farmers, and make new contributions to the leap from a province rich in forestry resources to a strong forestry economy in Sichuan." At the conference, plaques were awarded to 51 enterprises including Qianchuan Wooden Doors and Dujiangyan Kaida Green, representing the second batch of provincial leading forestry industrialization enterprises.
