The first meeting of the Chengdu Yaan Chamber of Commerce Preparatory Group was held in Wenjiang, Chengdu.

　　On the afternoon of March 21, the first preparatory meeting of the Chengdu Ya'an Chamber of Commerce Preparatory Group was held in Wenjiang, Chengdu. Wang Qiang, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of Ya'an Municipal Committee, Zhang Qiang, Secretary General of Ya'an Federation of Industry and Commerce, Luo Zhengren, Chairman of Qianchuan Wood Group and leader of the Chengdu Ya'an Chamber of Commerce Preparatory Group, Jiang Fenglin, Chairman of Sichuan Xikang Mining Co., Ltd. and Executive Deputy Leader, along with six initiators attended the meeting.

　　The meeting was opened under the chairmanship of Luo Zhengren, leader of the Chengdu Ya'an Chamber of Commerce Preparatory Group. At the beginning of the meeting, Luo Zhengren gave a detailed report on the previous preparatory work of the Chengdu Ya'an Chamber of Commerce. With the care and support of the Chengdu Federation of Industry and Commerce, Chengdu Civil Affairs Bureau and related departments, and the cooperation of the United Front Work Department and Federation of Industry and Commerce of Ya'an, through the joint efforts of 8 initiating units and 40 participating units and individuals, the preparatory work of the Chengdu Ya'an Chamber of Commerce has been progressing in an orderly manner.

　　In the early stage, the preparatory group strictly followed the relevant policies and application procedures of the Chengdu Federation of Industry and Commerce and Chengdu Civil Affairs Bureau to carry out various preparatory tasks, uniformly collected, organized, summarized and improved various approval documents. Under the leadership of Luo Zhengren, through the concerted efforts of all units, on January 9, 2014, the "Reply from Chengdu Civil Affairs Bureau on the Application for the Preparatory Establishment of Chengdu Ya'an Chamber of Commerce" was finally obtained.

　　Wang Qiang, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of Ya'an Municipal Committee, congratulated and affirmed the preparatory work of the chamber of commerce. He said: "The preparation work of the Chengdu Ya'an Chamber of Commerce has been done very well and thoroughly, and all aspects have been effective. However, the entire preparation and establishment process of the chamber will be very arduous. I hope everyone will go all out and perform their duties." He also emphasized that the chamber must be standardized and sustainably developed during the preparatory process and subsequent development, and fully and deeply understand the purpose and responsibility of establishing the chamber. First, everyone should raise awareness of the importance of establishing the chamber. Enterprises from Ya'an developing in Chengdu are distributed across various industries and have considerable influence in their respective fields. The chamber should fully utilize this platform, clearly recognize the power of the team, and promote mutual exchange and communication among enterprises; second, enhance the chamber's influence by improving service quality, strengthen the cohesion of Ya'an entrepreneurs, and members should have a sense of the overall situation, unite, help each other, be inclusive, learn, and establish a good image of Ya'an enterprises.

　　Minister Wang also made effective suggestions on the construction of the chamber, such as further standardizing and improving the articles of association, building the leadership team and defining responsibilities and powers, and the development and expansion of the chamber organization. He gave full explanations and suggestions on many substantive and urgent issues. He hopes the chamber can provide a fulcrum and platform for the development of a wide range of Ya'an enterprises. Zhang Qiang, Secretary General of Ya'an Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Wang Jing, Director of the Economic Section of the United Front Work Department of Ya'an Municipal Committee, gave careful guidance. Members of the preparatory group enthusiastically discussed the chamber's articles of association, organizational structure, work location and staffing, as well as the chamber's journal, website, and logo, expressing their views and actively putting forward constructive opinions.

Jiang Fenglin, Executive Deputy Leader of the Preparatory Group, proposed, "We want the Chengdu Ya'an Chamber of Commerce to develop healthily and vigorously, fully provide service, enhance influence, and achieve collective development, information sharing, platform interaction, economic mutual assistance, and benefit sharing among member units."

　　Finally, everyone also discussed the "Selection Method for the First Member Representative Assembly of the Chengdu Ya'an Chamber of Commerce," the preliminary deployment of related work for the first member representative assembly and the founding meeting, and determined the time, place, and finalized matters for the next preparatory meeting. All attendees expressed an urgent expectation for the establishment of the chamber. At the end of the meeting, Luo Zhengren emphasized, "We will further improve the work, realize scientific and sustainable development strategies for the chamber, form a good mechanism, and become the most representative and advanced chamber organization."
