On January 10th, the 2015 China Wood Industry Development Summit Forum and the 6th Fifth Council Meeting of the China Timber and Wood Products Circulation Association were held at Taiyue Hotel in Dong'e County, Liaocheng City, Shandong Province. As the Executive Vice President Unit of the China Timber and Wood Products Circulation Association, Qianchuan Wood Industry Group Chairman Luo Zhengren was invited to attend the meeting.

In 2014, affected by the slowdown in domestic and international economic growth, the timber and wood products market remained sluggish. In 2015, as China's economic development entered a "new normal," how wood industry enterprises transform and innovate has become a common focus of the industry. To better serve the industry, grasp the development pulse of China's timber and wood products industry, and provide reference for member companies' 2015 development plans, as well as to restore industry confidence, the China Timber and Wood Products Circulation Association and the People's Government of Dong'e County, Liaocheng, Shandong jointly organized the 2015 China Wood Industry Development Summit Forum and the 6th Fifth Council Meeting of the China Timber and Wood Products Circulation Association.
The meeting invited experts from the economic and real estate sectors and leading enterprises in the timber and wood products industry to summarize the development status of 2014, interpret the domestic economic and real estate development situation, and predict the development trend of China's wood industry in 2015. New measures of concern to the industry such as e-commerce, integrity traceability, and combating counterfeit and inferior products were also discussed. Additionally, the 2014 council work of the association was summarized, and the work ideas for the 2015 council were proposed.
