Public Welfare: Qianchuan Wooden Doors collaborates with Evergrande Group for targeted poverty alleviation in Dazhou County

Since the start of the precise poverty alleviation project in Dafang County on February 27, Evergrande Group has brought a new atmosphere to the county.

　　Evergrande's precise poverty alleviation has created the "Evergrande Model" in the history of poverty alleviation in China—targeted assistance, rapid efficiency, and thorough implementation. As an important strategic partner of Evergrande Group, Qianchuan Wooden Doors actively responded to Evergrande's poverty alleviation action, cooperating with Evergrande to participate in the Dafang poverty alleviation project, providing wooden door products needed for local construction.

　　Dafang Project Commencement Ceremony

　　Dafang County is located in the northwest of Guizhou Province and is home to 23 ethnic groups including Han, Yi, Miao, Bai, and Gelao. It is a key county for national poverty alleviation work. Evergrande signed a precise poverty alleviation agreement with Dafang County last December, committing to invest 3 billion yuan in poverty alleviation funds over three years. Through a comprehensive package of measures including industrial poverty alleviation, relocation poverty alleviation, employment absorption poverty alleviation, educational development poverty alleviation, and social security for special hardship groups, the goal is to ensure that all 180,000 impoverished people in Dafang County achieve stable poverty alleviation by the end of 2018.

　　Since joining Evergrande's Dafang poverty alleviation project, Qianchuan will be responsible for the production and supply of all indoor wooden doors for one ethnic-style tourist town—Shexiang Ancient Town, 10 Happy Villages, 11 primary schools, 13 kindergartens, one complete middle school, one modern vocational technical college, one charity hospital, one nursing home, and one children's welfare home. It is reported that the first batch of supplies will be completed before September this year. Qianchuan is already well prepared and waiting for production and supply orders.

　　On July 7, 2016, at a symposium during a special inspection of Qianchuan Wooden Doors' Chengdu base by Yu Weiqiao, Chairman of Evergrande Materials Company, Qianchuan Wooden Doors General Manager Luo Baitao solemnly promised, "We will do our utmost, fight poverty decisively, and ensure smooth supply.
