On July 5th, 2023, the Global Wood and Wood Products Conference and China Wood Industry Technology Conference was grandly held in Rizhao, Shandong. The conference was jointly organized by the China Timber & Wood Products Distribution Association and the Rizhao Municipal People's Government. Jiang Zengwei, Chairman of the Global Services Trade Alliance; Li Jiafeng, President of the China Timber & Wood Products Distribution Association; Yang Chao, Chairman of the China Green Carbon Foundation and former Chief Economist of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration; and Zhang Hui, Secretary of the Rizhao Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, delivered speeches respectively. More than 600 participants attended the conference, including representatives from 14 countries and regions, wood traders, certification agency guests, as well as leaders and experts from domestic wood industry enterprises and research institutes.
