Continuing the red spark, promoting the tradition of respecting the elderly
Inheriting the red revolutionary spark and promoting the spirit of volunteer service. To thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on volunteer service, fully leverage the fighting fortress role of grassroots party organizations and the pioneering role of party members, and strengthen party members' sense of responsibility and mission. Recently, Qianchuan Doors and Windows organized a party member volunteer service and themed party day activity at Kangtai Home · Shuyuan under the theme "Continuing the Red Spark, Promoting Respect for the Elderly."
This event specially invited Comrade Huang Degui, an 80-year-old former first-class pilot of the 13th Air Division of the Air Force, to share his glorious revolutionary experiences with the party members and employee representatives present. Recalling the past, full of hardships and glory, Comrade Huang experienced major historical moments such as the Sino-Vietnamese Self-Defense Counterattack War, the Tangshan Earthquake rescue, nuclear tests, and foreign aid missions, and was awarded second-class and third-class merits multiple times. Through Comrade Huang's narration, everyone was deeply moved and expressed their determination to take revolutionary predecessors like Huang Degui as role models, inherit the spirit of hard struggle, pass on the red gene, continue to carry forward the Party's fine traditions, and bravely advance along the footsteps of the predecessors.
At the event site, led by Comrade Huang Degui, all volunteers sang loudly together "Without the Communist Party, There Would Be No New China," and the resonant singing filled the hall of the park. Each volunteer showed a determined expression, demonstrating their infinite loyalty and love for the Party, and their firm determination to listen to the Party and follow the Party.
Subsequently, all volunteers actively engaged in this volunteer service, providing one-on-one smartphone usage guidance to the elderly in the park. They patiently and meticulously explained the operation process of common phone applications to the elderly, helping them master frequently used functions and usage methods, effectively solving the difficulties elderly people face in using smartphones, helping them cross the "digital divide," and conveying respect and care for the elderly through practical actions. This truly embodies caring for and serving the people, and effectively addressing practical problems for the people.
This party day activity is an important measure for Qianchuan Doors and Windows to further strengthen party consciousness and sense of responsibility, enhance patriotism and the ability to serve the people. Through this activity, volunteers focused on the needs of the people, truly giving back to society with practical actions, providing help and services to the people, demonstrating the excellent qualities and sense of responsibility of party members, and the good image and dedication spirit of Qianchuan people.
