School-Enterprise Cooperation for Development, Win-Win Collaboration to Write a New Chapter — Teachers from Hubei Ecological Engineering Vocational College Visit Qianchuan Wooden Doors for Exchange

From September 7th to 8th, Cheng Zhen, Party Secretary of the School of Art and Design at Hubei Ecological Engineering Vocational and Technical College, along with three others, visited the Qianchuan Wooden Door Hubei Production Base for inspection and exchange, visited internship and training students, and organized professional skills training. Both parties conducted in-depth discussions on various school-enterprise cooperation methods such as internships, professional skills improvement, and industry-education integration. The company's Deputy General Manager Yi Dajie, Production and Manufacturing Center Director Fu Jianzhao, and Human Resources and Administration Manager Chen Chaohua participated in the learning and exchange activities.

During the two-day learning exchange, Teacher Zhou Jinchao lectured on "History and Appreciation of Chinese Furniture," Teacher Yang Yingjie lectured on "Traditional Furniture Elements in the World Skills Competition," Teacher Cheng Yan lectured on "Promotion and Application of Furniture Professional Teaching Resource Library," and Secretary Cheng Zhen lectured on "Internal Communication Skills in Enterprises." They comprehensively explained the development and evolution of the furniture industry, the industrialization process of furniture manufacturing, the application of production and manufacturing technology, and professional skills from professional perspectives such as the history of furniture development, traditional furniture elements, and furniture professional teaching resources. A total of 200 management personnel at various levels, including workshop team leaders and senior workshop leaders, participated in the training. Through professional learning, everyone systematically understood and mastered the theoretical knowledge related to wooden product production and manufacturing, recognized the necessity of technology development and application in the industrialization process, the importance of talent and technology research and development in the traditional manufacturing industry, and applied what they learned to fully combine theory with practice.

In May 2020, the company signed a school-enterprise cooperation agreement with Hubei Ecological Engineering Vocational and Technical College to jointly establish the Hubei Qianchuan Ecological Wooden Door Enterprise-School Joint Innovation Center. Through mutual recognition and co-branding of the base, on-the-job internships and training, semi-directed training, employee training and vocational skill appraisal, mutual secondment and exchange cooperation, scientific research and education cooperation, and industry-academia collaboration, the cooperation between the industry and the college was strengthened in multiple aspects. This achieved a "win-win" situation for the enterprise and the college to grow and develop together, explored a new cooperation model between the industry and higher education, and realized comprehensive and integrated links for talent cultivation, human resource development, technical services, and scientific research achievement transformation to meet industry development needs.

The company has successively sent technical backbones to participate in the World Skills Competition observation and study organized by the college, deeply learning about the current situation and future development trends of the wooden products industry; actively organized employees to participate in the industry single recruitment examination organized by the college. In 2020, more than 30 employees of our company took the theoretical level examination, of which 19 passed and entered the college for study; between 2020 and 2021, the college selected 32 interns to participate in internships and training at the company, truly achieving the combination of theory and practice.

In recent years, the company has comprehensively cooperated with multiple universities and research institutions in talent, research and development, technology, and other aspects. It has successively signed cooperation agreements with Hubei Ecological Engineering Vocational and Technical College, Hong'an Technical School, and other universities, establishing a complete set of talent training and scientific research systems; actively cooperated with the China Wood Conservation Development Center and the National Wood and Wood Products Performance Quality Supervision and Inspection Center to build the Qianchuan CNAS Laboratory, filling the gap in wooden product inspection and testing in Huanggang and even Hubei. Through continuous in-depth exchange and cooperation, a solid foundation has been laid for the development and improvement of the Hubei Qianchuan Ecological Wooden Door Enterprise-School Joint Innovation Center.
