Identify New Benchmarks, Demonstrate New Achievements | Launch Meeting of Qianchuan Wooden Door CNAS Laboratory Construction Project Held

On May 24th, Qianchuan Wooden Door held the launch meeting for the CNAS laboratory construction project. Liu Nengwen, Director of the China Timber Conservation Development Center and the National Timber and Wood Products Performance Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (hereinafter referred to as the National Inspection Center), Deputy Director Yu Naiqiu, and four industry experts attended the meeting to provide guidance. City and county leaders including Chen Xuanming, Director of Huanggang Forestry Bureau, Cheng Wanli, Chief Engineer of the City Forestry Bureau, Wang Huijun, Deputy County Head of Hong'an County, and Ruan Lin, Director of the Hong'an County Economic Development Zone Management Committee, were also present.

He introduced the company's development status and future prospects to the attendees. Director Liu Nengwen pointed out in his speech that Qianchuan Wooden Door, as a leading enterprise in China's wood industry, is a national high-tech enterprise, a key leading enterprise in national forestry industrialization, and a "Little Giant" hidden champion enterprise in Hubei Province. In recent years, it has attached great importance to product quality and market service, steadily increasing production scale and market share. Its influence and exemplary role in the national wood products industry have become increasingly significant, and it has good conditions for building a CNAS laboratory. The construction of the CNAS laboratory at Qianchuan will have a profound impact on improving the company's product quality and brand influence, promoting the high-quality development of the wood industry cluster in Hong'an and even Hubei, and fostering the prosperity of Chinese wood culture. The China Timber Conservation Development Center and the National Inspection Center attach great importance to the construction of the Qianchuan CNAS laboratory and have established a project team led by Deputy Director Yu Naiqiu. They hope the project team will fully cooperate with Qianchuan Wooden Door, benchmark against nationally and internationally recognized management norms and testing standards, further improve internal quality control levels, promote enterprise quality and efficiency improvement, and make greater contributions to the development of the national wood industry.

Director Chen Xuanming pointed out at the meeting that the Qianchuan laboratory construction project is a major event worthy of strong support and attention. It is of great significance in filling the gap in wood product inspection and testing in Huanggang and even Hubei. He hopes Qianchuan will use this opportunity to benchmark national standards, further enhance market competitiveness, increase customer trust, achieve high-quality development, and drive the development of Huanggang's forestry industry.

Deputy County Head Wang Huijun, on behalf of the Hong'an County Party Committee and County Government, expressed gratitude to the China Timber Conservation Development Center and the National Inspection Center for their care and support to Hong'an enterprises. He stated that the government will continue to do its utmost to assist the construction of the Qianchuan CNAS laboratory and support high-quality enterprises to grow bigger and stronger.

Subsequently, CNAS Chief Reviewer Wan Likui and Director Han Yujie of the Quality Department of the National Inspection Center respectively introduced the history and development of CNAS and the construction plan of the Qianchuan CNAS laboratory. The laboratory construction project team inspected the production workshop of Qianchuan Door and Window Company and surveyed the project site. Both parties conducted in-depth discussions and confirmations on the construction plan.

The China Timber Conservation Development Center is a central-level unit under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. The National Timber and Wood Products Performance Quality Supervision and Inspection Center is a third-party authoritative testing institution mainly serving the commercial circulation field, built with national investment. The National Inspection Center has been authorized by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration Commission, passed the qualification accreditation and metrology certification of the National Certification and Accreditation Administration, obtained laboratory accreditation (CNAS L4521) from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment, and acquired pesticide efficacy testing unit qualification from the Ministry of Agriculture. It is authorized as the designated testing institution in China for the China Timber and Wood Products Circulation Association, China Wood Protection Industry Association, China Magnesium Industry Association, and the American Osmose Company.
