Accumulate Strength and Make a Strong Start, Embark on a Dream—The Internal Competition Event at Qianchuan Wooden Door Hubei Production Base Successfully Held

To meet the company's needs for talent cultivation and reserve, strengthen the talent team construction, and encourage reasonable internal talent mobility, the company recently organized an internal job competition.

As a new attempt in the company's talent cultivation and selection model in 2020, this competition offered 4 grassroots management positions in workshops. Candidates could apply voluntarily or be directly recommended by leaders. Ultimately, the selection would be made through a combination of presentations, interviews, on-site interactions, and company approval. To ensure the competition is conducted fairly, justly, and openly, the company established a leadership group and a supervision group responsible for organizing and evaluating the competition. This internal competition received widespread support and active participation from employees, with 6 candidates advancing to the final defense stage.

The competition defense was held on the afternoon of August 14 in the company meeting room. The judging panel, composed of 8 members including the Production Director, HR and Administration Director, Production Manager, and HR and Administration Manager, conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the candidates. Each candidate gave an impressive speech covering their personal work experience, professional technical skills and management ideas, understanding of the position, and work plans if appointed. The panel assessed and scored the candidates based on their understanding of the position, work planning, verbal expression, logical thinking, and adaptability.

The HR and Administration Department will carefully calculate the comprehensive scores of the candidates, rank them according to their scores, and submit the results to the responsible leaders for comprehensive evaluation to determine the final hires, followed by organizing subsequent onboarding procedures.

This internal competition aims to provide employees with career development opportunities and paths. It not only fully mobilized employees' enthusiasm and initiative but also served as a comprehensive showcase of their personal talents. The company will seriously summarize the experience of this competition, establish a long-term mechanism, further select talents, and promote employees' self-improvement and company development.
