The International Broadcast Center (IBC) is located on the third and fourth floors of the main media center. It houses the Competition Signal Dispatch Center (CDT), Broadcast Signal Quality Control Center (PQC), Broadcast Operation Center (BOC) during the event, International Signal Recording and Logging Center (ARCHIVE), and more, covering a total area of about 21,000 square meters.

Besides providing registered media with an efficient, safe, and comfortable working environment, the main media center also features the Xinhua News Agency 5G Communication Innovation Laboratory exhibition area and an official licensed merchandise retail store, among other diverse functional zones.
