For a wooden products manufacturing enterprise, safety is paramount. Recently, in order to enhance the fire safety awareness of all employees, consolidate fire safety knowledge, improve fire self-rescue and emergency evacuation capabilities, and further ensure safe and orderly production, Qianchuan Wooden doors invited the fire safety instructor from the Wenjiang Fire Brigade Haixia Science and Technology Park team to conduct fire safety training for employees.
During the training, the fire safety instructor explained in detail the emergency escape methods during disasters, characteristics of fires, and the use of fire extinguishers and fire hoses.
For example, when explaining how to use a fire extinguisher, the instructor pointed out several key points: first, choose the fire extinguisher according to the material on fire; second, shake the dry powder extinguisher if it has not been used before; third, stand upwind of the fire; fourth, after pulling out the safety pin, hold the nozzle and aim at the base of the fire.
After the instructor's explanation and demonstration, some employees practiced using the fire extinguisher, mastering firefighting skills. For improper operations, the instructor provided hands-on guidance. They aimed the hose, took a stable stance, and targeted the fire source... Afterwards, the instructor also provided guidance on connecting fire hoses to hydrants and using fire hoses.
