Luo Zhengren, Chairman of Qianchuan Wooden Doors, attended the Tianfu Forum
On April 5th, with the support of the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and hosted by the Sichuan Chamber of Commerce, the "2017 Tianfu Forum," a landmark economic exchange event in western China involving well-known domestic and international entrepreneurs, political, business, and academic circles, was held at the Century City International Conference Center in Chengdu.
Vice Governor Yang Xingping attended the forum and delivered a speech. At the forum, business leaders and experts such as Liu Chuanzhi, Li Shufu, Liu Yonghao, and Zhou Qiren discussed the development opportunities in the western region. Luo Zhengren, a Chinese wood products expert and chairman of Qianchuan Wooden Doors, attended the conference as the vice president of the Sichuan Chamber of Commerce to share business wisdom.
The forum, themed "New Business Forces? Towards a New Future—Fusion and Rebirth: A New Engine Driving the Economy," featured two key segments: the Maker Era and Leaders' Talk. Liu Chuanzhi, chairman of Lenovo Holdings Co., Ltd., Liu Yonghao, chairman of New Hope Group, and Li Shufu, chairman of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, participated in Leaders' Talk to share business insights and entrepreneurial spirit.
In the Maker Era segment, six post-80s entrepreneurs including Liu Chang, chairman of New Hope Liuhe Co., Ltd., Zhou Tao, founder of Chengdu Shuzhilian Technology Group, and Liu Chengcheng, founder and CEO of 36Kr, delivered wonderful speeches on "Innovation Leading the Future," sharing their entrepreneurial stories.
This forum focused on development opportunities in the western region, discussed the current economic situation, shared leading business experiences, and concentrated on the business wisdom of industry leaders, creating a platform and window for understanding China, the western region, and Sichuan. Zhou Qiren, senior chair professor at the National School of Development at Peking University, also delivered a keynote speech.
After a year of development, the Sichuan Chamber of Commerce has surpassed 15,000 basic members, with 83 core council members covering large state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, and Sichuan chambers of commerce worldwide, including Wanda, New Hope, Tongwei, and Sichuan Development. As a vice president unit of the Sichuan Chamber of Commerce, Qianchuan Wooden Doors is also a local enterprise based in Sichuan that has expanded nationwide and become a leading wood products company in China. Currently, Sichuan business development faces significant historical opportunities. Qianchuan Wooden Doors will continue to uphold the spirit and courage of broad innovation, perseverance, pragmatism, and boldness, going out, bringing in, returning home to start businesses, and benefiting their homeland.
