Recently, the first China Western Forestry Industry Expo opened in Chengdu, attracting more than 500 domestic and international exhibitors. This Western Forestry Expo, themed "Integrating into the Belt and Road Initiative, Supporting Rural Revitalization, and Promoting High-Quality Development of Forestry," is jointly organized by the China Forest Products Industry Association, Sichuan Forestry Industry Federation, and Chengdu Forestry Industry Association. During the Expo, the 2018 annual meeting of the Sichuan Forestry Industry Federation was grandly held. Exhibitors from more than twenty countries and regions showcased the latest forestry products and technological equipment. In the forestry machinery and smart forestry exhibition areas, visitors could learn about the craftsmanship level of forestry machinery, artificial intelligence, military-civilian integration, energy conservation and environmental protection, intelligent manufacturing cutting-edge technologies, latest products, and development trends. Additionally, the artificial board and wood structure exhibition area mainly displayed new technologies, materials, and equipment related to artificial boards and wood structures in the western region, as well as personalized furniture, home culture, services, innovation, creativity, and related products, projects, and technologies.
