Be vigilant in times of peace and prevent problems before they arise | Qianchuan Wooden Door Hubei Production Base holds fire safety drills and firefighting competitions

To strengthen the company's fire safety work, further enhance employees' fire safety awareness, and improve their fire prevention, self-rescue, and emergency evacuation capabilities, on the morning of December 26, Qianchuan Wooden Doors Hubei Production Base and the park fire brigade jointly held a successful fire safety drill and fire-fighting competition within the company. All employees from various departments, offices, and workshops of the company participated and observed on site.

Early in the morning, it was drizzling, but it did not dampen everyone's enthusiasm and eagerness to participate in the event. At 8:40, all departments of the base organized employees to assemble in formation at the company basketball court, and the fire drill started on time at 9:00.

Before the drill began, Yi Dajie, Deputy General Manager of Qianchuan Wooden Doors Hubei Production Base, gave a motivational speech for the event: "Fire safety is key to promoting the healthy development of the enterprise and an important link to ensure the safety of employees' lives and company property. The purpose of the fire drill is to further strengthen fire safety publicity, effectively enhance employees' safety awareness, and comprehensively improve employees' emergency self-rescue and the company's overall emergency response capabilities. We call on everyone to establish the spirit of ownership of 'Being at Qianchuan, Loving Qianchuan, and Developing Qianchuan,' to be visible in daily production, to stand out at critical moments, and to hold firm in emergencies. We hope the employees participating in the competition will demonstrate their skills and style, and that all employees will observe carefully, participate actively, understand the 'Two Understandings and Three Abilities' of fire safety work, and jointly maintain and create a safe and stable company development environment."

Afterwards, the fire instructor provided systematic training to employees, explaining the characteristics of fires, the use of fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, and other firefighting equipment, as well as evacuation and escape methods.

The drill simulated a fire emergency in the production workshop, with rapid emergency response and on-site evacuation. At the whistle blown by Zhang Yongkang, head of the company's safety department, the simulation began. Participating employees responded calmly, using fire extinguishers and fire hydrants to put out the fire, while management organized all participating employees to evacuate quickly and orderly to a safe area. Throughout the drill, from discovering the fire to extinguishing it and evacuating, all employees performed their duties responsibly, busy but orderly.

Subsequently, two firefighting competitions were held: connecting fire hoses to hydrants and using dry powder fire extinguishers to put out oil tank fires. At the whistle, participating employees reacted quickly and moved swiftly, while employees observing on the side cheered them on. In the end, after fierce competition, the employees from Workshop 4 won first place in the firefighting competition with a total time of 36.36 seconds for the two events.

Qianchuan Wooden Doors has always firmly established the concept of "Safety First, Prevention Foremost," attaching great importance to fire safety work and treating it as a major task. Shortly before this fire drill and competition, the base specially invited fire instructors from the park fire brigade to the company to demonstrate and provide hands-on guidance to the workshop volunteer fire brigade members on the proper connection of fire hoses and correct use of fire extinguishers.

"Prevention is better than disaster relief, and responsibility is heavier than Mount Tai." Through the fire drill and competition, not only was the company's employees' fire safety awareness greatly enhanced, enabling everyone to master emergency handling and escape methods in the event of a fire, but it also further promoted the guarantee of safe production in the company, creating a safer production and working environment, ensuring that Qianchuan continues to develop steadily under safe conditions and premises.
