Leaders of the Ya'an and Lushan Federation of Trade Unions visited Qianchuan Wooden Doors to meet and extend their regards to employees from Lushan.

More than 400 employees of Qianchuan Wooden Doors are from Lushan, accounting for about one-quarter of the total staff. In 1986, Luo Zhengren, chairman of Qianchuan Wooden Doors, took the first step of his grand career in Lushan, Ya'an. Over the past 32 years, as Qianchuan expanded from Lushan to nationwide, thousands of Lushan people have devoted themselves to Qianchuan's cause, contributing their youth and strength to its development; likewise, Qianchuan and the Lushan people within it have promoted the prosperity and stable development of their hometown in many aspects such as poverty alleviation, employment, education support, and disaster relief.
On December 26, He Weiping, Executive Vice Chairman of the Ya'an Federation of Trade Unions, Zhang Yang, Standing Committee Member of Lushan County Party Committee and Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions, Luo Xi, Deputy Director of Ya'an Employment Bureau, Jiang Yan, Executive Vice Chairman of Lushan County Federation of Trade Unions, and staff from city and county federations visited Qianchuan Wooden Doors to extend their regards to employees from Lushan. Luo Baitao, General Manager of Qianchuan Wooden Doors, warmly welcomed and thanked the leaders from the federations and other departments for their visit.
At the symposium, General Manager Luo first introduced the 32-year development history and current status of Qianchuan Wooden Doors to the attending leaders. He stated that in the 1980s, Qianchuan Wooden Doors proudly started in Lushan, Ya'an, then expanded beyond Ya'an to Chengdu; in 2008, Qianchuan settled in the Cross-Strait Industrial Park in Wenjiang, Chengdu; in 2011, the Hubei production base was established in Hong'an, Hubei. These two production bases have helped Qianchuan take off, and this year the second phase of the Hubei base was fully completed, achieving automated assembly line production.
Over more than 30 years, combining strength and honor, Qianchuan Wooden Doors has been consecutively rated as one of the "Top 30 Wooden Door Brands in China" by the National Wooden Door and Window Professional Committee for twelve years; recognized as a "National Forestry Industrialization Leading Enterprise" by the State Forestry Administration; the Sichuan production base was awarded "Sichuan Enterprise Technology Center" by the Sichuan Economic and Information Technology Commission; the Hubei production base was certified as a "National High-tech Enterprise"; and the "Qianchuan" brand wooden door series was awarded the "Sichuan Famous Brand" by the Sichuan Provincial Government.
Regarding the current development status, General Manager Luo said that since the 18th National Congress, Qianchuan Wooden Doors has supported ecological civilization construction, insisting on promoting green, circular, and low-carbon development in wood product manufacturing. They adhere to the principle that clean production means clear waters and green mountains, and clear waters and green mountains are as valuable as mountains of gold and silver. Over the past year, the Chengdu clean factory audit was successfully passed, and the second phase fully automated production line at the Hubei base was put into operation. While the company develops rapidly and with high quality, Qianchuan Wooden Doors actively assumes social responsibility, playing an important role in solving local employment and participating in poverty alleviation.
Subsequently, Wu Ping, Chairman of the Qianchuan Wooden Doors Trade Union, introduced the union's situation to the visiting leaders. Chairman Wu stated that currently there are 415 employees from Lushan at Qianchuan Wooden Doors, including 312 at the Sichuan production base and 103 at the Hubei production base, with 315 workers and 90 management personnel.
He said that this year marks the 6th anniversary of the Qianchuan Wooden Doors Trade Union. Over the past six years, the union has actively participated in reviewing company regulations, continuously improved welfare and logistics work, and strengthened employee rights protection. For example, organizing trips for outstanding employees, providing holiday benefits, supporting employees' children's education, comforting sick employees, and caring for employees facing family difficulties. For instance, last year when an employee's home in Lushan caught fire and was destroyed, the union sent personnel with supplies to offer condolences.
 
After Chairman Wu's introduction, Ren Baizhou from the Assembly Department and Fu Liangmin from the Door Frame Workshop of the Manufacturing Center, as employee representatives, reported on several employees facing family difficulties to the union leaders. They expressed gratitude to the company and union leaders at all levels for their care and support for employees, and hoped the union would pay more attention and care to the parents and children left behind in their hometown, especially regarding the physical and mental health of left-behind children and family emergencies.
Following this, the group of leaders highly praised Qianchuan Wooden Doors' 32 years of development, unanimously commended the company and union for their care and support of employees, and responded to the issues raised by the employee representatives.
He Weiping, Executive Vice Chairman of the Ya'an Federation of Trade Unions, stated that the company and union's care for employees in all aspects is comprehensive and thorough, covering housing, children's education, assistance for difficulties, and daily material aid, which is commendable. He also pointed out that the Ya'an and Lushan federations will firmly protect the legal rights of migrant workers, aiming to "maximize the inclusion of migrant workers into the union, making them a reliable new force of the working class." He hoped that employees from Lushan would strengthen their learning, improve their ideological quality and professional skills, carry forward the spirit of labor craftsmanship, and that the union will always be the advocate and family for migrant workers.
Zhang Yang, Standing Committee Member of Lushan County Party Committee and Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions, pointed out that this visit mainly conveyed the care and concern of the Lushan County Party Committee and Federation of Trade Unions for employees from Lushan at Qianchuan, and listened to the union's opinions and suggestions. Zhang said that after the Lushan employees join the union in groups, the Lushan Federation of Trade Unions can take a series of measures to help employees in difficulty to the greatest extent, such as deepening farmer employment services, entrepreneurship services, rights protection services, skills training, and medical assistance. She then introduced the new look of Lushan in recent years from aspects of output value, transportation, and education, encouraging and hoping that employees from Lushan actively join the union, prosper together with the enterprise, and increase their income.
Jiang Yan, Executive Vice Chairman of the Lushan County Federation of Trade Unions, said during the talks that Qianchuan's journey from Longmen to nationwide was not easy, with many twists and turns, but Qianchuan is the pride of Ya'an and Lushan, and also the pride of Sichuan. He hoped that under the policy environment of "three reductions and one lowering," Qianchuan can do better and go further. He also noted that the large number of employees from Lushan at Qianchuan reflects the company's admirable spirit of not forgetting its hometown while becoming prosperous. Regarding care for employees, he hoped that Lushan employees not yet in the union could join in groups so that the union can organize visits and provide assistance.
Finally, General Manager Luo made a supplementary speech, saying that over 32 years, Qianchuan and its employees have built good trust and feelings, mutually understanding and supporting each other along the way. He expects Qianchuan to strengthen contact with the Lushan Federation of Trade Unions and actively organize employees to join the union; he also hopes that public security and other issues in Lushan can be further improved to create a good growth environment for migrant workers' children. In the future, if possible, he will return to Lushan to invest and give back to his hometown, contributing further to Lushan's economic growth.
After the symposium, He Weiping, Executive Vice Chairman of the Ya'an Federation of Trade Unions, and Zhang Yang, Standing Committee Member of Lushan County Party Committee and Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions, distributed consolation gifts to the Lushan employees present. It is understood that a total of 415 Lushan employees of Qianchuan Wooden Doors received consolation gifts on this occasion.
