Accompanying children on a thousand-mile journey, nurturing quietly—Qianchuan Wooden Doors supports the "Children's Companion Home" side story
Children's healthy growth cannot be separated from the care and companionship of their parents. For left-behind children whose parents are away for long periods, occasional social assistance and charity activities in the past are no longer enough. Therefore, establishing a dedicated "Companion Home" to support left-behind children is imperative.

Qianchuan Wooden Doors, as a grateful enterprise, has always been enthusiastic about participating in public welfare and giving back to society. Under the advocacy of the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation and the Sichuan Provincial Youth League Committee, Qianchuan Wooden Doors has taken the initiative to provide help and warmth to left-behind children through sponsorship and other means.

This year, through the joint efforts of Qianchuan Wooden Doors, the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, and the Sichuan Provincial Youth League Committee, a "Companion Home" aimed at caring for left-behind children was quietly established in Ma'an Village, Shishi Town, Fushun County, Zigong City.

The "Companion Home" is a project initiated in Chengdu by the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, the China Public Welfare Research Institute, and the Sichuan Provincial Youth League Committee to care for left-behind children — the Companion Plan. From 10 counties and 100 villages, one "Companion Mother" is selected and trained in each village, each responsible for the left-behind children in that village, aiming to make up for the lack of parental affection among left-behind children.

Each "Companion Home" has a full-time "Companion Mother" who, in daily life, needs to monitor the dynamics of all children in the village, especially those with abnormal family situations; establish children's files and manage them dynamically; respond to children's needs and coordinate solutions; conduct home visits and provide companionship, among other tasks.

In the "Companion Home" in Ma'an Village, the "Companion Mother" tutors the left-behind children in their studies; in daily life, she communicates and plays happily with the children, helps them solve difficulties they encounter, and provides them with spiritual comfort, allowing them to feel the warmth of motherly love. These efforts have played a very positive role in the children's happy and healthy growth.
Not only caring for left-behind children, Qianchuan Wooden Doors has been at the forefront of public welfare for many years. For example, it actively participated in aid work for the 5.12 Wenchuan earthquake, the 4.20 Lushan earthquake, and the Yunnan Ludian earthquake disaster areas. In 2016, Qianchuan Wooden Doors actively responded to the Evergrande poverty alleviation campaign and participated in the Dafang poverty alleviation project with Evergrande Group, providing wooden door products for local construction needs. Such examples are countless.
