In July 2009, SouFun officially launched the "China Home Consumption Trend Research" project. This research integrates online word-of-mouth evaluations, sales ranking data from major regional markets, and extensive surveys of industry professionals and consumers to produce scientific research results. It aims to comprehensively analyze the characteristics of China's home consumption market, predict consumption trends and development directions, effectively guide rational consumption, and promote the healthy development of the home industry.
The current state of China's home consumption market is: first, it covers a wide range of products; second, information is extremely fragmented and non-transparent; third, there is blind investment, blind consumption, and low brand recognition within the industry; fourth, the overall competitive state is at a relatively low-level price competition stage, with low brand concentration.
Against this background, the China Home Consumption Trend Research was launched to quantify the home market consumption status from a micro perspective, comprehensively, timely, quantitatively, and objectively reflecting the market situation and change trajectory. It serves to monitor the market, guide rational consumption, and build brand reputation; thereby guiding consumer purchases, designer selections, and developer fit-outs. This is the purpose of launching the China Home Consumption Trend.
Chairman Luo Zhengren was invited to participate in the China Home Consumption Trend Research Touring Forum. During the meeting, Chairman Luo Zhengren, based on relevant data from online surveys, pointed out that the data reveals many insights. For example, the survey shows that many young people exist, but their consumption is very low; the older consumer group is smaller, but their consumption is very high. Therefore, merchants can refer to this data to make some adjustments. He also stated that Qianchuan will give back to society with high-quality products and excellent services.
