Fire safety lecture and simulation drill at Qianchuan for safety; safety is paramount!
Winter is a high-incidence period for fires. To enhance employees' fire safety awareness, ensure they master the correct fire handling and escape methods when a fire occurs, and to minimize the occurrence of fires while effectively protecting personnel and property if a fire does happen, on the morning of December 12, Qianchuan Wooden Doors once again invited Ding Zusheng, Director of the Fire Education Department of Wujin, to the company to hold a fire safety lecture, along with a practical fire simulation drill.
During the fire safety lecture, Director Ding focused on three aspects: how to improve fire awareness, master fire safety knowledge, and use fire-fighting tools.
Combining the recent Mianzhu Lingguan Building fire accident and previous major fire cases, Director Ding used a large number of real photos and video materials, vividly demonstrating the powerful destructiveness and tragic severity of fires through scenario reenactments and on-site explanations. The lessons were profound and thought-provoking.
At the same time, Director Ding also explained in detail how to correctly call for help during a fire, the principles of fire extinguishing, and various correct escape methods. Moreover, he demonstrated the types of fire extinguishers and the proper use of various fire-fighting equipment on site, providing valuable education to everyone.
After the lecture, the company conducted a simulation drill. The drill assumed two fire points occurred on the company's paint line. After employees discovered the fire, they reported to the leadership and immediately used fire extinguishers and fire hydrants to put out the fire. The company also used the broadcast system to organize all participating employees to evacuate to a safe area in an orderly manner. During the drill, from discovering the fire to extinguishing it and evacuating, all employees acted quickly and responsibly.
Theory is not as good as practice. After the drill, Director Ding demonstrated the actual operation of fire extinguishers in the parking lot. Several employees also took the stage holding dry powder and water-based fire extinguishers to extinguish fires involving wood and gasoline. During the process, Director Ding pointed out employees' improper operations and explained the correct techniques one by one.
Through this fire safety lecture and fire drill, not only was the company's employees' fire awareness greatly enhanced, enabling everyone to master emergency handling and escape methods in the face of fire, but it also further promoted the company's safety production assurance, ensuring that Qianchuan continues to develop steadily in a safe environment and under safe conditions.
