Qianchuan at the Housing Fair - Construction Industry Summit Forum
On the afternoon of May 5th at 2:30 PM, the Construction and Decoration Industry Summit Forum themed "Strengthening the Industrial Chain Construction and Promoting Industry Industrialization" was held at Hall 6 of the New Century Exhibition Center during the Housing Fair. Luo Zhengren, Chairman of Qianchuan Wooden Doors, was invited to participate as a leader in the wooden door industry. At the same time, leaders from well-known companies such as Shengxiang Wood Industry, Haixiang Decoration, China Railway No. 2 Bureau, and Dongpeng Ceramics gathered to offer suggestions for the construction of the industry’s industrial chain. The forum was hosted by Zhang Daiying, Secretary-General of the Chengdu Building Decoration Association.
At the start of the forum, Secretary-General Zhang presented a set of figures to illustrate the current development status and trends of China's building decoration industry. In 2009, the domestic building decoration industry generated a total output value of 1.85 trillion yuan, accounting for 6.7% of the GDP, becoming an important pillar industry of the national economy. He also pointed out that the construction of the industrial chain within the industry still needs to be strengthened and improved, and that factory-based production, as a development trend, has not yet been fully realized in the industry’s operation.
Luo Zhengren, Chairman of Qianchuan Wooden Doors, representing the company and the wooden door industry, spoke at the forum about how "industrialization is the development trend of the building decoration industry. Building materials companies should seize the business opportunities in industrial chain construction, be market-oriented, and Qianchuan actively participates in the formulation of building modular standards, sincerely cooperates with outstanding companies in various construction industries, dialogues with partners in the building decoration industry, and works together to develop the market and create business opportunities." Subsequently, other company leaders also spoke, expressing their expectations and confidence in industrial development.
The forum also specially invited Mr. Bu Jian, a senior interior architect and designer of the Sichuan Hall of the Great Hall of the People. As a symbolic figure in Sichuan’s architectural design field, Mr. Bu has always paid attention to and supported the construction of the industry’s industrial chain. He stated that industrial development is an inevitable trend in the home decoration industry, and the road to industrialization in building decoration has a promising future.
