"Qianchuan Doll" Cartoon Character Design Solicitation Notice

　　To better promote the "Qianchuan Wooden Door" brand image, Chengdu Qianchuan Wood Industry Co., Ltd. is publicly soliciting "Qianchuan Doll" cartoon character designs from social design agencies, colleges and universities, art design practitioners, enthusiasts, and company employees.

　　1. Collection Period

　　From now until December 31, 2010

　　2. Design Requirements

　　1. There are 2 Qianchuan dolls, one male and one female, aged between 5 and 7 years old.

　　2. Highly visually attractive, impactful, friendly, healthy image, easy to remember and spread.

　　3. Simple design lines, concise shapes, easy to produce inflatable models and promotional materials.

　　4. Able to reflect the characteristics of the wooden door industry.

　　5. Able to reflect Qianchuan brand's main color scheme — green (C:100 M:0 Y:100 K:70).

　　6. The cartoon characters in the submissions should be depicted from multiple angles or actions as the cartoon main body, Qianchuan company installation engineer, customer service manager, and production worker roles.

　　3. Submission Format

　　Design works should be computer-produced or hand-drawn artworks. The design should include the creative concept and the meaning of the cartoon character.

　　Please mail the color printed copy of the work (formats can be jpg, gif, resolution 300 dpi, A4 size, with design description) or the original drawing (with design description) to Chengdu Qianchuan Wood Industry Co., Ltd., indicating the participant's name, address, and contact information. Winning entries must provide electronic versions of the design (including design description, PSD format, JPG or GIF format). Electronic versions can be sent via email with the subject "Qianchuan Doll Character Design Submission." Designs can also be brought in person to the company for submission.

　　4. Copyright Statement

　　1. Submitted works must not infringe on others' copyrights. If discovered, the participant will be disqualified, any awarded prize money will be reclaimed, and all legal responsibilities will be borne by the participant.

　　2. All participants must use their real names; otherwise, prizes cannot be claimed.

　　3. Once selected, the entries will be evaluated by the jury and rewarded according to different levels and grades. After prize money or awards are paid, the copyright of the works belongs to Chengdu Qianchuan Wood Industry Co., Ltd.

　　4. Shortlisted works must provide a complete design plan that meets requirements and provide editable source files.

　　5. After the announcement of results, unselected works can be handled by the participants themselves.

　　6. Participants and design agencies submitting entries are deemed to agree to the above statements.

　　5. Evaluation Method

　　Our company will organize relevant experts to evaluate the submissions from January 1 to 10, 2011, selecting 1 grand prize winner and 4 shortlisted winners.
